ABOUT THE POSITION
We are actively looking for an associate to help us develop our business.
The tasks on offer will be varied:
- Design and develop innovative products using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc. ;
- Create 3D models and technical drawings;
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure the feasibility of model production;
- Participate in the optimization of CAD design processes;
- Work closely with R&D teams to understand customer needs and requirements;
- Design the overall architecture of structural parts for mechanical equipment;
- Select technical solutions and update project definition technical files;
- Carry out numerical simulations/modeling on the computer, to subject the parts produced to different constraints;
- Carry out theoretical calculations and deduce the characteristics of each component (dimensions, strength of materials, etc.);
- Carry out technical tests on prototypes, checking their compliance with expected performance levels and indicating any corrections to be made;
- Draw up specifications for optimum design of technical parts in compliance with current regulations;
- Compile approval files in collaboration with the Industrialization/Homologation Department;
- Monitor technological developments and plan improvements;
- Project engineering (planning, coordination, training).
EXPECTED TRAINING
- Engineering degree in mechanical design, industrial engineering or related field
- 3 years’ professional experience in CAD design
YOU'RE THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IF
- You have solid experience in 3D modeling and technical drawing.
- You have in-depth knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar CAD design software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- You can work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- You are proactive and don’t hesitate to ask the team if you don’t understand something or if you want to share ideas,
- You are rigorous,
- You are fluent in English (our team is international!).
